Bob Sailors, The Man with a Vision

Bob Sailors
HDDC Founder, the man with the vision to create our design council.

What got you interested in window tinting?
I started tinting cars, which ventured off to the residential and commercial markets. After learning about all the different aspects of window films and their applications, I knew this occupation was a field I wanted to stay involved with, as it involves energy savings, protection of assets, and piece of mind for security.

How did you get involved with COBA and the BGC?
We moved to Oregon in 1996
Terri & Bob Sailors

and got involved with COBA from the home shows. When the BGC was formed it was a perfect fit for networking and my sustainable products.

What made you think about forming a design council?
The ASID is a national organization that involved travel to Portland for participation. The high desert interior designers needed to network and educate themselves locally, so I took the opportunity with the Building Green CouncilTM (BGC) to form a council for designers.
