First HDDC Field Trip

Field Trip to Ponderosa Forge in Sisters
Thursday, July 23rd 4:15 pm


The HDDC is excited to offer the first in a series of artist field trips. 

This is a free event!

Join us for a private tour of the Ponderosa Forge showroom and the opportunity to watch an artist-blacksmith work hot metal with this ancient art form.

Take Pine ½ mile to Sisters Park Drive

If you’re interested in catching a ride, 
there are still a few seats available on the 
Green Energy Transport Bus!


The GET bus will be picking up riders in Bend at 3:00 pm in the Staples parking lot (off Hwy. 97). Don’t be late! Bus leaves at 3:05 pm.

Next stop is Redmond: Ray’s Food Place parking lot, Hwy. 126 and 23rd St. Plan on being there no later than 3:20 pm.

Cost for the bus ride is $11 per person. (Please plan on tipping the driver $2-$3 in cash the night of the event.) We’re going to have fun! Plan on bringing a bit to drink, and appetizers to share with your bus mates.

The GET bus only has seats for 12 riders
and pre-registration is required
