Grandma's House - An Update

The High Desert Design Council's philanthropic project for 2011 is to help redesign the kitchen space at Grandma's House. The current kitchen is dated and too small for as many people that reside at this location. (See slideshow here)

The plans below may be enlarged by clicking on the image. The first image is the existing space (note the arrow).

Scott Brown of JS Brown Design drew a new floor plan with an addition for a new kitchen, and a larger space for the night supervisor's apartment.

This is the preliminary plan, other HDDC members have volunteered their time and we're more than willing to look at any plan one of our members wants to submit.

Pinnacle Architecture has volunteered to do architectural renderings, and Tanya Carlsen of Carlseng Designs is working on a design of the courtyard space.

We're very excited about the direction this is taking and look forward to seeing more progress.
