The HDDC Interactive Lecture series starts this fall
with a presentation by Stonecutters
Tuesday, September 21st, 4:00 pm
at Fireside
424 Northeast 3rd Street, Bend.

Fiona Henderson, co-owner of Stonecutters, will be making a spiral-bound book for everyone, so we need to have an idea of how many people will be attending. PLEASE RSVP by September 17th to thehddc@gmail.com

Stonecutters is planning an informational, interactive presentation that starts with the quarry and selection of stone, goes through the design process, the fabrication and the installation and also gives pointers on do's and don'ts of stone use, as well as lots of ideas for using stone in different settings - from traditional to contemporary. Add a little bit of history, a little bit of architecture, some geology and that about sums it up...

Mark your calendars as you won't want to miss the first in this series of lectures. Currently, we have an interactive lecture planned every month (with the exception of December) through April 2011. We're very excited to be sponsoring these lectures and look forward to a good response. Check our Events Calendar for more information.
